I figured since Joe gets so pumped up when somebody joins this group, its what I could give him for Christmas this year that he would find meaningful. It doesn't hurt that I'm old enough to know that at one time COBOL ruled the planet. peace

I have been a COBOL Programmer for 23 years. I have been unemployed for the last 8 months. I welcome the chance to meet other COBOL Programmers. I also like to meet with people who use JCL - (Just Can't Learn) is what that actually stands for.

I'm an old Cobol dude from the 80s. Stopped programming for a few years and am back in it again. Currently using php/mysql combination. However I am moving back into COBOL finally.
